Crane Selected by Woodward to Provide Proximity Switches for Airbus A330neo

Crane Aerospace & Electronics has been chosen by Woodward to provide proximity switches to be used on the thrust reverser actuation system on the A330neo with Rolls Royce Trent 7000 engines.

Woodward provides the thrust reverser actuation system and selected Crane to provide the proximity switches that detect the position of mechanisms within the system. Six proximity switches are used on each engine.

In 2013, Crane was selected by Woodward to provide the proximity switches for the thrust reverser actuation system on the A320neo LEAP1A engine.
