Parker Aerospace Selects Crane ATRU for Reliable Power Conversion on COMAC C919

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), has been selected by Parker Aerospace to supply its ELDEC® Auto-Transformer Rectifier Unit (ATRU) to provide reliable power conversion for the COMAC C919 Horizontal Stabilizer Motor Control Electronics (MCE).

The ELDEC® ATRU is a lightweight AC-DC converter with high efficiency and low distortion that converts aircraft AC power to high voltage DC at a continuous 1,500 W. It provides affordable, efficient and reliable power conversion while meeting today’s stringent power quality requirements.

We are delighted to continue our relationship with Parker Aerospace as a trusted supplier of power conversion products for their motor-driven actuation equipment. Our ATRU was selected for this critical application as it delivers extremely high reliability with lighter weight.
